Morgan’s Fine Finishes began in the Northeast with Bret and Mat Morgan practicing a trade they learned from their father, Richard A. Morgan, a Master Finisher and antique restorer. At an early age, the brothers developed a working knowledge of traditional finishes and the color theory necessary for restoration of fine antiques.  Whether it was a hand applied shellac (French polish) or a rubbed lacquer finish, the two brothers excelled becoming fine craftsmen in their own rite. Before long, Bret and Mat developed techniques enabling them to apply their furniture quality finishes to the interiors of newly constructed homes. Finding a high demand for quality service and excellent workmanship, Morgan Fine Finishes trained skilled workmen, hired an educated staff , and welcomed a third partner Chris Zarkos, enabling them to expand across the west.

Morgan’s Fine Finishes has a pre-finish shop at most locations enabling craftsmen to pre-finish cabinet packages, flooring, trim, doors, furnishings and window packages prior to installation. Finishing construction materials off site makes for a cleaner construction site environment. For those products requiring extensive carpentry work upon installation, i.e. complex baseboard and casings, detailed cabinet moldings, beams and windows, highly trained onsite crews use proven techniques for creating a  high quality, low impact finish environment while providing a well ventilated work space. Whatever your project needs, Morgan’s Fine Finishes’ crew managers are experienced in coordinating schedules to keep projects moving forward swiftly and efficiently avoiding costly delays and disappointment. When selecting materials, Morgan’s Fine Finishes provides a wide selection of color samples available to designers and homeowners to help coordinate wood and Paint palettes. Because we mix our own stains and glazes, your project is not limited by our samples. Colors can be customized, simply bring us a magazine clipping, fabric swatch or any type of sample showing your unique color choice and we will match it in any finish or Paint.
In addition to finishing, Morgan’s Fine Finishes offers a Painting service in most established areas. We use our pre-finish facilities as staging points for our Painters. Ask your local representative if this service is provided in your area.
